Privacy.
Me. is built so your health data stays yours. There is no account, no Me. server, and nothing to sell. This page explains what that means in practice.
The short version
Me. reads your Apple Health data on your device, lets you add your own context, and compiles structured outputs that you choose to share. Your Apple Health data never leaves your device. What you add is stored on your device, and in your own private iCloud if you turn on sync. Nothing passes through a Me. server, because there is no Me. server.
No account, no identity
Me. works without signing up. There is no email, no profile, and no identity tied to your use of the app. We do not ask who you are, and we have no way to link your data to you.
What stays on your device
Your Apple Health data stays on your iPhone. Me. reads only the categories you permit, on the device, and never uploads or syncs them anywhere. You can change or revoke that access at any time in the iOS Health settings.
What you add to Me., your daily check-ins, notes, Health Profile, and the compilations you generate, is stored on your device too. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is also stored in your own private iCloud.
iCloud sync
iCloud sync is off by default. Turn it on and what you add to Me. follows you across your devices and survives a lost phone, held in your own private iCloud, encrypted, under your Apple Account. Your Apple Health data is never included; it stays on the device. Me. cannot read your iCloud data. Sync is yours to control in Settings. Standard iOS device backups work the same way: through your own iCloud account, never ours.
What moves, and when
Beyond your own iCloud sync, data only leaves your device when you compile and choose where it goes. A compilation is plain text that you copy or share deliberately, into an AI tool, to a GP, or to a coach. Me. does not transmit your data anywhere on its own.
Never sold
Me. earns through the app, not through your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. There is no analytics profile built from your health information.
Analytics
Me. uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-first usage analytics. It tells us which features are used, never who used them and never any health values. It is disclosed in the app and you can turn it off in Settings.
Deleting the app
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it from that device. If iCloud sync is on, deleting your data in the app (Settings, delete all) also clears it from your private iCloud once your device next syncs. Me. holds no copy on any server of ours, so there is nothing to request or erase from us.
